A real challenge for a handy-man

The town of Eger is not far from here. This beautiful Baroque city
with its cozy centre, the imposing basilica and the castle that towers
above the city is a 30-minute drive away.

The famous Tisza Lake can be reached in 45 minutes by car. You are
then in Poroszló on the edge of the lake. Wonderful for a day at the
beach. 10 minutes further you are in the famous seaside resort of
Tiszafüred with its many campsites and of course the beach. A trip
with a (rented) boat on the Tisza is definitely worthwhile.

Also a beautiful area to take walks from the village of Sály through
the foothills of Bükk. There are several thermal baths in the area and
for shopping you can go to the M3 Polgár Outlet Shopping Centre.

Several foreigners have a second home in the village and there are
even some families who live here permanently.
